Our History
Ellis Training Works was established by John Ellis in 1991 to offer peripatetic training in all topics related to Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. Click here to see John's contribution to the industry.
Our fully-equipped training centre opened in 1998 and is approved by the City & Guilds. Through our training methods we aim to provide all our candidates with the highest level of training to attain nationally-recognised qualifications which will support their professional development and which will contribute to the professionalism of the industry.
By maintaining a balance of resources and flexibility, we can identify training needs and provide cost-effective solutions to meet customer requirements.
To help maintain our standards, we conduct our training with small class-sizes (usually to a maximum of 8 candidates), thereby giving greater personal contact-time between individual students and the trainer. We have designed our courses with a largely practical content, ranging in duration from 2-60 days to meet industry needs.
